From SSg Moben H Angeles, Joseph's youngest brother 3rd April 2009

There are people who give so much meaning to our lives even if they cross our path only very briefly. When they move on, they continue to touch our hearts. But when was the last time we let these people know how happy we were that they were part of our lives? Shower them with your love while you are together, for once they leave you may never get the chance again. This is exactly how I felt when Kuya Malcolm called me last March 18 around 1:30 am to tell me that my Kuya Joser lost the battle with his cancer. No one can imagine how much I cried and how many sleepless nights I spent trying to understand why the Lord had to take him away. I guess the Lord took our Kuya Joser at such a prime age because he had already lived a full life. He had made full use of all that the Lord had given him: his talents, his compassionate heart and most specially his life. God takes the good first because they already have served their mission. This is a lesson for us who are still living. God continues to give us a chance to prove ourselves. Each new day is another chance for us to make use of whatever was given to us. I now face each day with open acceptance of my dear brother's death and a complete understanding of why the Lord chose him. For our dear Kuya Malcolm, words cannot express how thankful we are to you for caring for Kuya Joser during his sickness until his final moments. We will remain to be your family here in the Philippines.
