This is Pachot, one of Joser's good friends from college (Ateneo). I am profoundly saddened by this shocking news. I didn't even know that Joser was ill. The last time we spoke was around the time of our other dear friend's, Amor's, passing. Back then, I promised to visit him whenever I end up in Europe, and he graciously offered to stay with you two. I am sorry Malcolm that I only know you from a photo that he shared with me. Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss... our loss. Joser was a wonderful, and quite funny, friend... witty, a great writer, and much more. Even though we did not stay in touch regularly, we would always pick up the pieces whenever we did, as if we just spoke yesterday. He was truly one of my friends at heart.
